A class action lawsuit has been started in the Federal Court of Canada claiming that the Government of Canada has failed to adjust Treaty Annuity Payments to reflect changes in inflation and consumer prices (the “Treaty Annuity Class Action”).  The case is Horseman v. Canada (F.C. No. T-1784-12).

The action seeks to recover damages for the failure of the Government of Canada to adjust the Treaty Annuity Payments to their present value.
